SPROUL, MRS. FLORENCE SERVIS - Cove Springs--Mrs. Florence Servis Sproul, daughter of Isaac and Harriet Servis, was born in Peoria, Ill., Sept. 22, 1861, and died at her home five miles east of Troy on Feb. 3, 1912.  Her parents died when she was a very small child and she came to Hamilton county, Ohio at the age of six.  She united with the Baptist church at Casstown and was baptized and received into full membership on March 11, 1883.  On the twentieth of the following December she was united in marriage with Jacob J. Sproul.  They were blessed with one child, a son, Ralph.  Beside father and son, two brothers and a host of friends mourn her death.  Quiet, unassuming, gentle, true to all those ideals that made wifehood and motherhood sacred, her loss leaves a place vacant that can not be filled.  The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at her home, Rev. Dunaway was in charge.  Interment at Casstown.
