BUZZARD, MRS. ELIZABETH - Smith's Corner--Mrs. Elizabeth Buzzard died Saturday evening at the Dayton hospital, death ensuing from a complication of diseases.  She was born Dec. 30, 1828, in Prince William county, Virginia, and was the daughter of Warner and Susannah Hales.  She was married in 1880 to John Buzzard, he dying within two years after.  She came to Ohio over 50 years ago and had lived around New Carlisle ever since.  She was of a happy, helpful disposition and will be missed by many.  She had been a member of the M. E. church since she was 17 years old  The funeral was held from the home of her niece, Mrs. George Kight, Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. J. W. Patton.  Interment in New Carlisle cemetery.
