BECK, MRS. E. E. - Covington--The funeral obsequies of the late Mrs. E. E. Beck of Greenville, were held in the Brethren church at Pleasant Hill Wednesday at 11 o'clock.  The decedent was well known in this community and was formerly Mrs. David Patty, who resided on a farm southwest of this city, Mr. Patty having passed away several years ago.  Mrs. Beck was in high esteem by all who knew her, and her many friends in Greenville respected her for her gentle disposition character.  At the age of 49 years she has left in, this sad demise a husband, one stepdaughter, one brother, two stepsisters and two stepbrothers and many other relatives.  The services were conducted by Rev. Watkins, pastor of the Christian church in Greenville, assisted by Rev. C. H. Ashman, of Pleasant Hill.  Resolutions from the Rebekah, lodge of Greenville, of which she was a member were read at the services.  The floral emblems were profuse and beautiful.  After the service the body was followed to the Pleasant Hill cemetery, where it was laid in the last resting place.
