AYRES, MRS. COMFORT - At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. L. F. Kirk, in Sturgis, Michigan, on Sunday morning, February 13th, Mrs. Comfort Ayres, aged 85 years.  Mrs. Ayers was for many years a resident of Troy, and was well known to all the older citizens of the place.  She was the mother of the late, Mrs. McCullough, who took so prominent a part in every good work here during the greater part of her useful life.  The mother set the good example, and the daughter followed faithfully in her footsteps.  They both did what they could, and both have gone to receive their reward.
