EVANS, MRS. CARRIE - Phoneton--Mrs. Carrie Evans died in Columbus after a long illness.  She was born near Sulphur Grove about 35 years ago and was a daughter of Edward and Laura Herring.  She married Percy Evans who with a one-year-old child survives her.  Funeral services were held at North Dayton, Monday, August 12.  Burial was a New Carlisle cemetery at Bethel.
