WIDOW OF JESSE PEARSE STRICKEN  

Mrs. Belle Brading Pearse, 83, widow of Jesse Pearse resident of Piqua almost her entire life, died at 1 p.m. Friday at the home of a nephew, L. E. McMakin, 39 McDaniel street, Dayton, where she had been in failing health for several years.  Born in Miami county January 15, 1865, she was the daughter of Jeremiah B. and Mary Ann Cron Brading.  She was a member of Greene Street Methodist church and had resided in this city until seven years ago. Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Nondas B. Slocum of Los Angeles, Calif, Mrs. Grace Kussman of Dayton and Mrs. Howard Morton (Nelle Brading) of Birmingham, Ala; three nephews, L. E. McMaken of Dayton, Harry Brading of Evansville, Ind., and William Brading of Piqua, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.  The Rev. A. K. Wilson will conduct services Monday at 2 p.m. at the J. C. Cron and Sons funeral chapel with burial in Forest Hill cemetery.   Friends may call at the J. C. Cron and Sons funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday.
