ALLEN, THEODORE S. - In St. Louis, on Friday night, October 16th, of Typhoid fever, accompanied by Hemorrhage, Theodore S. Allen, son-in-law of the Editor of this paper, aged 26 years.  On behalf of a beloved and bereaved daughter we desire, in connection with this notice, to tender grateful and heartfelt thanks to the many persons in St. Louis--many of them entire strangers--for their constant and watchful attentions and numerous acts of (disinterested) kindness to the deceased during his illness, also to the citizens of Troy for their manifestations of good will and kindly regards on the occasion of rendering to the remains of the deceased the last sad rites demanded of earthly friends.
