AGENBROAD, MRS. JANE E. - In this place on the 18th Inst., Mrs. Jane E. Agenbroad, of Congestive Chills; aged 44 years, 11 months, and 5 days. She was born in Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio, Oct. 13th, 1824. This sister has been a worthy member of the Baptist Church in this place about seven years. She labored hard to rear her children and prepare them for the active duties of life. May our Father in heaven temper the winds that blow on these shorn lambs. But her Christian principle was specially manifested in visiting and taking care of the sick and dying around her. She gently fell asleep early in the evening of her decease, from which she never awoke.

"Asleep in Jesus! blessed sleep,

From which none ever wakes to weep."

She leaves a husband and three children, and a large circle of relatives to mourn their loss. She was taken, on the 20th inst., to the Township where she was born, and buried by the side of her father, to await the resurrection of the just.
