STAFFORD, JOS. (JOSEPH) H.
- Last Sabbath, Jos. H. Stafford, one of our wealthiest
farmers, died of consumption. This man was an old pioneer, who had grown up
with the county, and greatly will he be missed by all who have known him
long.

STAFFORD,
JOSEPH H. - At his residence in Lostcreek township, Miami County, Ohio, after an
illness of several month, Joseph H. Stafford, in the 68th year of his age.
Mr. Stafford was born near Gilestown, in Giles county, Virginia, March 1st 1806;
came to Ohio in 1812; married Miss Jane A. Black, who still survives him, in
1827; settled in Lostcreek township in the month of January, 1828, where he
lived until the time of his decease. He leaves a wife and two daughters.
