TELFORD, JOHN GILMER - Veteran - First Lieutenant - Second Artillery, U. S. Army

We clip the following notice from one of our Cincinnati exchanges: DIED--At St. Paul, Minnesota, on Monday, the 10th inst., of consumption, First Lieut. John Gilmer Telford, Second Artillery, U. S. Army.  The deceased was the son of Charles L. Telford, once a prominent member of the Cincinnati Bar.  Lieutenant Telford was well known to all the citizens of Troy, where he was a school boy when the war of the rebellion broke out.  He left his home and school to join the army with which he has continued ever since.
