HART, JAMES H., ESQ. - Death of Gen. J. H. Hart - James H. Hart, Esq., a native of this town and a life-long citizen of the county, died in Piqua on Friday afternoon last, after an illness of but two or three days.  Mr. H. has been for the past twenty-five years a prominent member of the Miami county Bar, at one time represented the district of which this county is a part in the State Senate, and at the time of his death held the office of revenue assessor for the 4th district.  During the late war Gen. H. did good services as an officer in the 71st O. V. I. closing his military career as its colonel.  He afterwards received the brevet rank of brigadier-general.
