J. Otto Kopp of Ludlow Falls Dies

J. Otto Kopp, 58, lifelong resident of Ludlow Falls, died Saturday at 8:20 a.m. at the Piqua Memorial hospital where he had been a patient intermittently since April. He became seriously ill three months ago while vacationing in Florida and was taken at that time to the Piqua hospital. Death was due to Hodgkin's Disease.

He was born July 9, 1893, in Ludlow Falls, a son of Joseph and Dora Ehlers Kopp. He had been an employee of the Frigidiaire company in Dayton for many years. Mr. Kopp was a member of the Masonic Lodge at West Milton and of the Christian church at Ludlow Falls. Surviving are his wife, the former Hazel Kelly; one son, Max Kopp of Ludlow Falls; a daughter, Miss Geraldine Kopp, at home; and a sister, Mrs. Ona Sinks, of Ludlow Falls, and one grandchild.

Final rites will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Roy H. Miller funeral home, West Milton, with Rev. George Easley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of the services. A Masonic service will be held Monday at 8 pm at the funeral home.
