This morning at 3 o'clock at his home in Washington avenue occurred the death of Hugh Patton after a long illness.  Deceased was in 76th year.  Three daughters and three sons survive.

The funeral services will be held from the residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Dr. J. T. Black.  Interment at Forest Hill.
