SCHINDLER, HENRY - Henry A. Schindler, age 86 of Tipp City, died Monday, May 19 at Englewood Manor.  He was born June 29, 1921 in Dayton, to Charles Leonard and Edith (Trangenstein) Schindler.  He was the owner and operator of H & C Electric, Tipp City.  A WWII Army Air Force Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post #586 Tipp City and St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Lebanon.  Preceded in death by his wife Treva I. (Shade) Schindler in 2002; his sons Henry K. "Hank" Schindler in May 2007 and Steven A. Schindler in October 2007; brother Gilbert Schindler and half brother Jim Smith.  Surviving are his daughter-in-laws Phyllis Schindler and Linda Schindler both of Tipp City; half sister Shirley and her husband Buford Allen, Clarksville, OH; grandchildren, David Schindler, Trotwood; Eric Schindler, Portland, OR; Nick Schindler, Altus, OK; Cherie Page, Bloomington, IL; and great granddaughter Madeline Grace Schindler; and his special friend Dolores Rauch, Trotwood.  Graveside funeral services 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City prior to services at the cemetery.
