SHAFFER, MILDRED - Phoneton--Mildred, the 13 months-old daughter of Clarence and Elsie Hapner Shaffer, died of brain fever at the home of Morgan Hapner, where they were visiting, last Wednesday, July 5th.  The funeral was held from the house Friday, July 7th, Rev. Dunglebarger of Dayton officiating.  Interment in the new cemetery at Bethel.  The child had not been well for sometime, but was not thought to be dangerously ill until the day preceding her death.  She was the only child and is survived by parents and grandparents.
