IDDINGS, MAURICE DALE - Maurice Dale Iddings, the eleven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Iddings of Troy, fell down a hay chute in a barn at the Samuel Stahl farm near Staunton last Friday afternoon.  His head struck the manger crushing the skull and rendering him unconscious.  He lingered until 11 o'clock when he died.  He was an alert, bright boy and his sudden death was a terrible blow to his parents.  Short services were held at the home Tuesday morning with Rev. Holt in charge.  The body was taken to Polk church where final services were held, Rev. O. P. Furnas officiating.  Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church.
