ENGLING, MARY JANE ANDREWS - New Hope--Mary Jane Andrews, wife of George Engling, died May 13th at Conover, her death being due to pulmonary disease with which she had been afflicted a year.  She was born October 28, 1838.  December 29, 1859 she was united in marriage with George Engling, who with three daughters, one son, a brother and a sister survive her.  December 22, 1856, she united with the Lena Baptist church and throughout her life was a devoted Christian.  She developed a beautiful character and will long be remembered.  The funeral services were held from the Conover church on May 10th and were conducted by the Rev. N. Y Mathews.  Interment was made at Fletcher.
