ACKLEY, MARGARET R., 103, of New Carlisle, Ohio died Saturday, October 25, 1997 at Belle Manor Nursing Home, New Carlisle. She was born April 2, 1894 in Burlington, Iowa the daughter of Charles & Jessie (Reynolds) Roupf. She was a charter member of Worthwhile Garden Club in New Carlisle; charter member of 80&9 in Dayton, Ohio; a talented musician playing the clarinet and piano and also teaching both of them. She is survived by a niece, Evelyn Roulf of Kettering, Ohio; special friends, Bill & Eda Finfrock of New Carlisle. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; brother, Max; and a sister, Katherine Sommerfeld. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 1997 in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, & CHRISTMAN FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with Pastor Kevin Boggs officiating. Burial in Bethel Cemetery, Phoneton, Ohio, Ohio Friends may call one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
