TROY – Linda G. (Daniel) Smith, 46, of 329 Armand Drive, Troy, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec, 11, 2005, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  She was born April 14, 1959, in Urbana, to Richard and Maxine (Elsner) Daniel, who now resides in Piqua. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Danny Smith.  Other survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Doug Sweetman of Piqua; son, Greggory Allen of Troy; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Aaron Bliss of Springfield; two grandchildren, Daniel and Madison Bliss; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Vicky Daniel of Piqua, Rodney and Linda Daniel of Westerville and Steven and Anita Daniel of Covington; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Rich Libby of Cleveland, Audrey and William Johnson of Mesa, AZ and Karen and Tim Popp of Piqua; four brothers-in-law and their spouses, Clifford and Joyce Smith of Piqua, Robert Smith, Jr. of Piqua, and John and Tammy Smith of Piqua; three sister-in-law and their spouses, Carolyn and John Reedy of Piqua, Sheila and Joel Nunez of Williamsburg, IN and Samantha and John Hanselman of Piqua. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel (Epperson) and Robert Smith, Sr.  

Linda was employed by Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, where she worked in home health care for 15 years.  She was a member of the Miami Valley Christian Center, Troy. Linda graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1977.  She was a member of the Troy Eagles Auxiliary No. 971 and Women of the Moose No 2283, Troy. Linda will be greatly missed and loved by all her family and friends. 

There will be a funeral service at 5 pm Thursday at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Jennifer Hughes officiating. Her final resting place will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.  Friends may call prior to the service from 2-5 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
