TOBIAS, LENA - Lena, wife
of Harry Tobias, was born near Troy, February 25, 1882 and died March 29, 1911.
She leaves besides her husband two sons, Daniel and Clarence, and one daughter,
Helen, to mourn the departure of a dear mother who has been suddenly taken away
from them, just at a time when a mother's care, was needed the most. There
is also left to mourn her departure a father and one sister and two brothers
His sister has always stood by her side and taken the place of a loving mother.
Death came to Mrs. Tobias after a surgical operation which had been decided upon
as the only means of saving her life, she suffering from appendicitis and
strangulation of the bowels. The funeral was held Saturday morning at 11
o'clock from the St. John's Evangelistic church and was very largely attended.
Rev. Uhrland was in charge. Interment was made at Riverside. The
family appreciate all acts of kindness that have been shown them in this their
darkest hour of affliction and they take this opportunity of thanking their
friends. Peace be to her ashes and rest to her soul, brave explorer of an
unknown sea.
