SWEENEY, KENNETH M. - Kenneth M. Sweeney, 70, 7580 E. Agenbroad road, New Carlisle, passed away last Saturday at Stouder hospital in Troy.  He had been in ill health for some time.  A native of Van Wert, he was retired in 1967 after working 40 years for the National Cash Register.  He was a ham radio operator and monitor of the Rocking Chair Net.  He had been a resident of Bethel township for 38 years.  Survivors include his wife, Freda; three sons, Kenneth William of New Carlisle; Kenneth Fred of Riverside, California, and Frank of New Carlisle; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Reverend Gene Wells, former pastor of the Brandt United Methodist church, officiated at services on Tuesday at the Trostel-Chapman funeral home in New Carlisle.  Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at Donnelsville.
