BOOHER, MRS. KATHERINE SMITH - Mrs. Katherine Smith Booher, 19, wife of Vernon Booher of Murlin Heights, former student of the Troy high school, passed away at 11 o'clock Thursday forenoon in St. Elizabeth hospital, Dayton, death resulting from complications she had suffered since the birth of a son six weeks ago.  Mrs. Booher was the daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith who resided in Troy three years ago, but are now living in Piqua.  The body was taken to the home of her parents on Park avenue, Thursday evening.  Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Lutheran church in Piqua.  Burial was made in Memorial Park cemetery, near Dayton.  Surviving Mrs. Booher are her husband, two sons, Carl Vernon and the infant, Joseph Elwood.  In addition to the parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Friehoff, who reside in Troy.
