SENSEMAN, JOSEPH - Joseph
Senseman, 52, a prominent citizen of New Carlisle, committed suicide shortly
after noon Tuesday by shooting himself through the heart. The deed was
committed in the sitting room of the home during the temporary absence of his
wife and two daughters. Despondency and brooding over losses sustained
several years ago are given as the cause of his rash act. It is said he
had threatened to take his life several times during the past two years.
Besides his wife and daughters, one son, Harry, now of Dayton, survives him.
Funeral services were held from the residence Thursday afternoon. Burial
at New Carlisle cemetery.
