DAVIS, JOSEPH - Brandt--Joseph Davis, 75, died Tuesday afternoon at his home here, death being due to heart trouble and dropsy.  He had been seriously ill but was thought to be recovering.  Mr. Davis was widely and favorably known and will be missed by a legion of friends.  He leaves four children, Frank, whose home is in North Dakota, John of Troy, Shelby of Tipp City and Maude, who is married and lives here.  The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the M. E. church here.  Interment will be made in the cemetery near here.
