SANDERS, JOHN TAYLOR - Piqua - John Taylor Sanders died at his home on North street Saturday, January 29, from cancer of the liver and stomach.  He had been bedfast the past three months and had been in feeble health for two years.  He was born Sept. 9, 1848, in Springcreek township, and was the son of Elihu and Margaret Sanders.  April 30, 1870, he was united in marriage with Sarah Margaret Gray.  He was a member of the Piqua Church of Christ and was a member of Warren Lodge F. and A. M. which attended the funeral in a body and gave their ritual service.  He is survived by his wife, a daughter and four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hetzler and Mrs. John H. Moore of Fletcher, Mrs. B. F. Simmons of Brown township and Mrs. Jane Stickler of Piqua.  The funeral was held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. E. H. Kemm.  Interment was made in Fletcher cemetery.
