SOLIDAY, JOHN - John Soliday, a well known farmer whose home is on the county line road, five and one-half miles northwest of Piqua, died Friday after an illness of more than five months of cancer of the bowels.  A year ago he contracted appendicitis but gave it no attention.  Later the disease returned and an operation became necessary.  At this time it was discovered that cancer had developed, this disease ultimately causing his death.  Mr. Soliday was 48 years old.  He is survived by his widow and five children.  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the home.  Burial in Forest Hill cemetery, Piqua.
