KOONTZ, JOHN - John Koontz, 16-year-old son of Scott Koontz, of Emporia, Kan., died Saturday morning, according to a message received by Mr. Koontz's brother, Charles Koontz, west of Troy.  Mr. Koontz was formerly a well known Miami county farmer, leaving here about 20 years ago.  The funeral was held Monday afternoon at Emporia.
