GORMAN, JOHN - After an illness of several days John Gorman, a well known and respected citizen, succumbed to death Friday night at his late home, just south of Covington.  Mr. Gorman was a carpenter and for many years had worked at that trade, especially on building where heavy timber was used, and had always been an honest and industrious man, and was about 74 years of age.  He leaves to mourn his wife, two daughters and four sons.  The funeral obsequies were held in Covington Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. W. H. Brown.
