DOHNER, JOHN E. - John E. Dohner, 72, widely known farmer residing four miles southwest of West Milton, and a member of Pomona Grange, died at 3 o'clock Monday morning in Stouder Memorial hospital where he submitted to a surgical operation on Saturday for the relief of fall bladder trouble which had caused him to be in ill health the last two years.  His death was the second to occur in the family within the last month, an only brother, Jacob Dohner, having succumbed to injuries incurred in a fall down stairs at his home in West Milton.  Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Dohner home.  Mr. Dohner was the son of John L. and Fannie Eller Dohner, the latter of Miami county.  He was born in Pennsylvania, his father's native state.  Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bessie Dohner; two daughters, Mrs. Nora Wissinger, who resides east of West Milton and Mrs. Martha Shelley, who lives near the parental farm, two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Anna Shono of Dayton.
