DEVOL, JOHN - John Devol died at his home very suddenly just before noon, Sunday, death being due to heart trouble.  Mr. Devol was born in Troy July 10, 1839, and all his life had lived in this vicinity.  His occupation was that of a farmer, until eight years ago when he retired.  June 4, 1868, he married Lavina Enyeart, who with his son survives him.  Funeral was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, being conducted by Rev. Etter.  Interment at Riverside.
