DeWOLF, JOHN - John DeWolf, father of Mrs. Clara Williams, the librarian, died Tuesday afternoon at her home on Short street after an illness of five weeks of gangrene.  Mr. DeWolf was born at Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Mary 18, 1827.  He was the next to the youngest of nine children, sister, Mrs. Nancy Fisher of Red Oakes, Iowa, being the only one living.  Mr. DeWolf came to Ohio with his family in 1834 and married Miss Henrietta Landry on November 14, 1850.  She died Oct. 9, 1874.  Four children were born to the couple, two of whom are living.  Mrs. Williams and Mrs. W. L. Snyder of Jacksonville, Fla.  The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the I. O. O. F. of which he was a member, being in charge.
