BAER, JOHN - Early Friday morning John Baer, 59, a lifelong resident of Troy, passed away death resulting from a cancer from which he had suffered for the last two months.  He was married some sixteen years ago to Miss Belle Peebles, who survives him.  He also leaves a brother, Harrison Baer, and three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Lambert of Toledo, and Mrs. Will Yount and Mrs. Will Speelman of Piqua.  Mr. Baer had been a valued employee of the Wagon Works for several years.  At one time he was street commissioner for six years.  The funeral services which were held Sunday afternoon at the Baptist church and were conducted by Rev. W. D. Holt, were attended by the I. O. O. F. lodge of which he was a member.  Interment in Riverside.
