PEARSON, JOHN B. Piqua--The funeral of John B. Pearson, who died at three o'clock Tuesday afternoon will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Christian church.  The interment will be at Forest Hill cemetery.  The services will be conducted by the Rev. W. J. Young.  The news of Mr. Pearson's death came as a great shock to his many friends in this city.  He was only ill a week.  The cause of his death was pneumonia.  The deceased was born near Tippecanoe City in 1861.  He is survived by his wife, two children, Herbert and Ethel, his mother, Mrs. McCann, of Troy, and four sisters and three brothers.  Mr. Pearson was a cement contractor and was highly esteemed and had a large circle of friends.  Mrs. Pearson acted as chairman of the cottage prayer meetings for the Biederwolf meetings until her husband was taken ill.  Dr. Biederwolf paid a tender and touching tribute at the meeting last evening when he mentioned Mr. Pearson's death and the bereavement that had come to the stricken widow and children.  He closed with a touching prayer.
