DINSMORE, JOHN ALLEN - Phoneton--Last Sunday morning about 9 o'clock when Mr. and Mrs. Allen M. Dinsmore were getting their children ready for Sunday school at Bethel church, they missed their baby boy of about 15 months.  One of the other little boys was sent immediately to look for him.  He found him in the spring, a short distance from the house and pulling him out he started to the house where he was met by the father.  Although the child had been gone but a very few minutes life was extinct when found.  The doctors think when he struck the cold water is caused paralysis of the heart.  Every known means was resorted to, to resuscitate him but all in vain.  John Allen Dinsmore, as the little one was called was born Feb. 14, 1910, at Phoneton.  He was an unusually strong, hearty and interesting boy.  Besides his parents there survive to mourn his untimely death three sisters, two brothers, and his grandparents.  The funeral services were held at the Brandt Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Tuesday and were conducted by the pastor.  Interment was made in New Carlisle cemetery.  The bereft parents certainly have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire neighborhood in their sad loss.
