SPICER, JASPER - Jasper
Spicer, 72, suffered a stroke of apoplexy Monday afternoon from the effects of
which he died at 9:15 Monday night without regaining consciousness. Mr.
Spicer since the death of his wife several years ago has made his home with his
daughter, Mrs. Carl Becker, who with her sister, Mrs. Merwin Burke, are left to
mourn his death. Mr. Spicer was one of the oldest living members of the
Troy lodge I. O. O. F. and was a member of the First Baptist church. The
funeral was held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. W.
D. Holt. Burial was made in Riverside.
