SANDERS, J. M. - After an illness of five weeks, death ended the sufferings of Infirmary Superintendent J. M. Sanders Saturday afternoon about 4:30 o'clock at the institution.  Mr. Sander's death was due to a bladder trouble from which he suffered intensely at times.  For several days his condition was critical and the end was expected.  Mr. Sanders was born in Spring Valley, Greene county, November 24, 1861, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sanders.  He spent his boyhood days in Spring Valley and for a time was engaged in the hotel business with his father, later going to Tipp City.  On August 12, 1885, he married Miss Minnie May Favorite, daughter of Postmaster U. G. Favorite, who survives him.  The couple had no children.  After leaving the homestead farm, Mr. Sanders engaged in the grain business in Tipp City.  He was a staunch Republican and belonged to the Masonic lodge.  Mr. Sanders was appointed as superintendent about one and a half years ago.  The remains were taken to Tipp City and funeral services were held from the home of Harry Favorite Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
