STIVER, GLENN ROSS - Bucktown--Glenn
Ross, the only son and dearly beloved child of Vernon W. and Edna Stiver, was
born on Jan. 10, 1906, at Cowlesville, Ohio, and died Monday, Aug. 5, 1912, aged
six years, six months and twenty-five days. Last Friday he showed symptoms
of ill heath, in a few hours he was under the doctor's care. But the case
was hopeless. The dreaded spinal meningitis had gripped the body and last
Monday evening just as the sun kissed the earth a good-bye, his little soul took
its flight and returned to the giver of all life, God, our Father. He was
a bright boy, and gave promise of a glorious future of usefulness. He was
intellectual beyond most boys of his age. But death has robbed us of our
treasure. However heaven is made brighter by his presence. May the
God of peace comfort the hearts of all who mourn this sad loss.
Card of Thanks - We certainly extend our heartfelt thanks to all who rendered their kindness and assistance during the sickness and death of our beloved son. MR. and MRS. VERNON STIVER
