GEORGE H. BRADING

George H. Brading, 70, of Piqua, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at his residence. He was born Jan. 22, 1935, in Piqua to the late William R. and Bethel Cruse Brading. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jenny Brading of Piqua, Todd and Lynn Brading of Cincinnati and Chris and Maureen Brading of Holland, Mich; one daughter, Lisa Kerrigan of Sidney; 10 grandchildren; two brothers and siter-in-law, Bill Brading of Piqua and Bob and Nancy Brading of Piqua; three sisters, Mildred “Jack” Hulme of Houston, Bette Beard of Troy and Bethel “Peg” King of Washington, and a sister-in-law, Marge Brading of Dayton. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky; one brother, Jim; and two sisters, Ruth and Mary. Mr. Brading was formerly married to Peggy Holly Brading. Mr. Brading was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Piqua and was a 1953 graduate of Piqua Catholic High School. He worked for the Kroger Store for 35 years as a produce clerk and retired in 1999. He also worked for 40 years at Andy’s Garden Center. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Thomas Grilliot officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to one’s favorite charity.
