DEWEESE, GEORGE W. - George W. Deweese, aged 86, a member of the 147th O. V. I., died at his home on Garfield avenue last Saturday morning after a brief illness.  He lived on a farm in Staunton township until he enlisted in the army.  About 25 years ago he removed to Campbellsville, Ky., where he resided until three years ago when he came to Troy.  He was much loved and will be missed by many.  His wife, two sons and one daughter survive him.  The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon from the home.  Coleman Post G. A. R. having charge.  Interment at Rose Hill cemetery.
