SCHILLING, GEORGE - Covington--George Schilling, a well known tobacco merchant and a life long resident of this place, died Saturday at twelve o'clock after only one week's illness of pneumonia. Mr. Schilling was just a few weeks past sixty four years old and had always enjoyed the best of health prior to his last illness. His sudden death comes as a great shock to his family and large circle of friends in Covington and vicinity. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Schilling, six daughters, and three sons; Mrs. William Fenstemaker of Tippecanoe City; Mrs. Walter Lutz, and Charles Gavin, of Piqua; Mrs. Clyde Reisch, southwest of Piqua; Mrs. Ed Williams, of Dayton O., Miss Iona Schilling, who resides at home; Charles Schilling of Covington; Earl Schilling of Culte, O.; Albert Schilling of Clifton Heights, N. J. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from his late residence. Rev. G. A. Conibear was officiating minister, Reverends F. G. Behner and W. M. Brown assisted. Interment was made in Highland cemetery.
