KAUFFMAN, FRANK - Apoplexy super induced by the extreme heat caused the instantaneous death of Frank Kauffman, an employee of William Saunders, who died while working in a field on the latter's farm about 4 o'clock last Friday afternoon.  He was discovered by his cousin, Adam Kauffman, who was working in the same field.  Every effort was made to resuscitate him, but to no avail.  The body was removed to the house and Deputy Coroner Elmer Thomson was notified, who took charge of the body which was shipped to the parent's home in Sidney on Sunday, where the funeral services were held on Monday.  Mrs. Nora Jones, of Sidney, a sister, arrived here Sunday morning.  Mr. Kauffman was 40 years old last January.  He was born in Pennsylvania and had worked for Mr. Saunders for the past six years.  The latter held the man in the highest regard and says that he was an excellent employee.  Mr. Kauffman was single.
