DENMAN, FRANCES ANNETTE - Frances Annette, the 7 years-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Denman and one of the most widely known and popular children of the city, died shortly before noon Monday, death resulting from rheumatism.  She had been ill but a few days.  She was beautiful in face and disposition and so easily made friends and acquaintances that she was known all over the city and the news of her death was a great shock to hundreds.  Her father has been ill for several months and was recovering and it is feared his little daughter's sudden taking away will seriously retard his convalescence.  She was born in Troy on May 1, 1905, and her life had been a great blessing to her parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Miller, with whom she spent much of the time.  The funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon being in charge of Rev. R. H. Dunaway.  Burial was at Riverside cemetery.
