Forrest W. Yenney, Co-Owner Of McMaken Interiors,
Dies
Forrest W. Yenney, 70, of 206 Broadway, co-owner of McMaken Interiors here, died at 11 p.m. Saturday in Piqua Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in failing health six months. Born, Aug. 6, 1896, a son of John W. and Ella Ingle Yenney, he was a native and lifetime resident of Piqua. He attended Piqua schools and was married to the former Wilma McMaken in Piqua, July 17, 1915. Mr. Yenney was in business with his son, James W. in the more than 100-year-old business which has been in the family four generations. He was formerly associated with the G. F. Yenney Grocery here a number of years. He was a 50-year member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church. Surviving is his wife Wilma; three children, Miss Estella J. Yenney, Miss Arlene Yenney, and James W. Yenney, all at home; a brother, Arthur P. Yenney of Piqua and a sister, Mrs. Harvey Stratton (Dorothy) of Marietta. A sister Margaret Yenney died in 1922 and his step-mother, Mrs. Minna Yenney died in 1958. Dr. Robert Clark will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Madison Home for Funerals. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday and the family will receive friends there from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
