Floyd
L. Cron, 80, of 1205 W. High St. died at 9:39 p.m. Monday in Piqua memorial
Medical Center. Born in Piqua Feb. 12, 1905, he was a son of the late Lucius and
Myrtle Crapsey Cron. He was married June 29, 1935, in Winchester, Ind., to the
former Beatrice Neil, who survives with one son, Thomas L. Cron, Troy; four
grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Helen Greenbank, of Piqua.
One brother and one sister are deceased. Mr. Cron was a member of the
First United Church of Christ and Warren Lodge 24, F & AM.
He had retired as a foreman from the French Oil Mill Machinery Co.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Jamieson and Yannucci
Funeral Home, 333 W. High St., by the Rev. John Virgint, with burial in Forest
Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the
funeral home are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
