Esther Naomi Bashore  

Esther Naomi Bashore, 79, of Piqua , passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004, at the Covington Care Center. Naomi was born in Bradford on Nov. 12, 1924 , to the late William Roscoe and Ivy Edith (Bookwalter) Inman.  She was a graduate of Greenville High School: was a waitress for 51 years; retired from L & K Restaurant, Piqua and was a member of the Bradford Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lucille Looker and Mary Ellen Inman; and two brothers, Walter Inman and Calvin Inman. Naomi is survived by her son, Truman Bashore and wife, Waggie Wagner of Gettysburg; daughter, Beverly and husband, Wilbert Long of Gettysburg; sister, Lura Richmond of Piqua; three grandchildren, Webb Alan Long and his wife, Priscilla, Tracy Lee Long and Malinda Long and Dann Ernst; five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Gorrell, Dakota Alan Long, Logan Gorrel, Bryson Long and Macala Long. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.  Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment of remains in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
