DARST, EMELINE - Phoneton--Emeline Darst, 16, daughter of Warren H. and Martha Darst, died June 28th at Fishburg death being due to spinal meningitis from which she had been suffering for two or three weeks.  She had been in poor health for a long time but several months ago she began to improve rapidly (apparently), then two or three weeks ago she became very ill again.  She is survived by her father, stepmother, four brothers and two sisters.  She was a member of Bethel Reformed church and was a faithful attendant at church and Sunday school.  The funeral was held at Bethel church Saturday afternoon, July 1st, and was conducted by Rev. Beck.  Interment was made in the old cemetery at Bethel.
