KENDIG, EMANUEL - The funeral of the late Emanuel Kendig, who died Thursday was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Brethren church of Covington. Rev. Isaac Frantz of Pleasant Hill officiating. The deceased was a man of a very quiet disposition and was esteemed by all who knew him. He has for many years been a sufferer from rheumatism and several years ago sustained a stroke of paralysis, but had been able to walk about and death came very suddenly from heart failure. He was fifty-three years of age. The surviving members of the family are the wife and two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Brinkman, east of Covington, and Miss Mabel Kendig, who resides at home; also three sisters, Mrs. Samuel Wallick of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. D. B. Landis and Mrs. Sarah Ingle and one brother Lewis Kendig of Covington.
