TOOHEY, EDWARD A. -
Edward A. Toohey, formerly a resident of Brown township, died at Rockford, Ill.,
Wednesday evening of last week from pneumonia. He was about 33 years old.
Deceased was born on a farm on the Urbana pike, about a mile west of
Fletcher. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Toohey. Eleven years
ago, the family moved to Middletown, Ohio, and two years ago deceased went to
Rockford. Mr. Toohey is survived by his father of Middletown; two
brothers, James Toohey of Muncie, Ind.; and William E. Toohey, of Middletwon,
three sisters, Anna Toohey, of Middletown, Mary, wife of Frank Elbert, of Piqua;
Margaret, wife of Edward A. Dwyer, of Piqua. The body was taken to Piqua
and the funeral was held at 9 a.m. Monday from St. Marys church. Interment
made in Forest Hill cemetery.
