Services for Dories D. Nies, 68, of Dayton, mother of Mrs. Richard Marlow (Sherril
Kay) of Tipp City, were conducted Tuesday at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum by
the Rev. Tony Plummer. Mrs. Nies died No. 18 at Miami Valley Hospital
after a long illness. She is also survived by two sons, Terril and Randal
Nies of Dayton; two sisters, Mrs. Gayle Cruthirds (Rowena) of Vidor, Texas and
Joyce Hurley of Derider, La.; seven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and
nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes
Association.
