SCHAEFFER, DANIEL - Daniel Schaeffer died May 24th at his home near Sulphur Grove.  He was about 75 years of age.  He was the son of John Schaeffer.  He was united in marriage with Nancy Howder, who with two sons and one daughter survive him.  Three other sons preceded him in death.  One died last year and the body brought home for burial having been carried 500 miles on a sledge drawn by dogs.  Another son was killed in the West? several years ago.  The other died near home.  The funeral services were held Thursday at Holden Casper and were conducted by the Rev. Arthur.  Interment at Bethel cemetery.
